Educating in Womb

When Pralhad’s mother was pregnant with him, she used to listen to devotional songs. Therefore, even though Pralhad took birth in a Rakshasa family, he became a devotee of Lord Vishnu.

The story of Abhimanyu is well known in the Mahabharata. Abhimanyu, the son of Arjuna, learned how to enter the Chakravyuha (the strategic arrangement of warriors to entrap and defeat the enemy) when he was in his mother’s womb. He had heard and remembered the narration of the technique by Krishna to Subhadra during her pregnancy. certain specific rituals. Before the birth of Buddha, his mother, Mahamaya had followed In the month of Ashadha, she celebrated the seven-day festival and gave alms to the poor. She did penance by giving up some of her pleasures. After the festival, Mahamaya had a dream in which, Bodhisatva, by the name of Sumedh, asked permission to take birth in her womb. She happily consented. Later, a brilliant son was born to her in the pleasant environments of Lumbini. He became Lord Buddha.

Before Krishna was born, his mother, Devaki had a dream that Lord Vishnu had entered her body.

The mother of the freedom fighter, Veer Savarkar used to read the courageous stories from the Ramayana and Maharana Pratap to her son when he was in her womb.

Rishi Udalak was a great saint. He had an able disciple called Kahod. The Rishi gave his daughter, Sujata in marriage to Kahod. Once when Sujata was pregnant, Kahod was reciting some shlokas.

The baby in the womb realized the recitation was incorrect and asked him to correct it. Kahod was livid with rage. He put a curse on his son so that he would be born bent in eight places. The child, Ashtavakra was born bent in eight places. The father’s angry thoughts affected the baby.

When tabla maestro, Zakir Hussain was in his mother’s womb, his father, Ustad Allah Rakha used to beat lightly with his fingers on his mother’s abdomen.

Sister Lorna Zemke has found that the fetus will respond rhythmically to rhythms tapped on the mother’s belly.

As the mother is the first guru of the fetus, mother’s influence on the fetus is paramount. Mother’s self-concept – preferably positive- helps fetus to learn better in the womb. The fetus’s social environment base is its mother! Educating the fetus rightly begins with a healthy (in all respect) motherhood Sing or hum softly to your fetus; the sounds provide an introduction to rhythm and tone that will be important to later language development.

Avoid highly stressful situations which can expose your fetus to hormone levels that block pre-natal learning. Finally, pursue your own learning activities, whatever they are. While the fetus will not learn directly from these experiences, your own mental attitude will be a kind of comfort and security to her that will provide her with the basis for a positive attitude toward learning after she is born

The mothers have taken recourse to this spiritual way so that child with healthy mind, soul and body is born To authenticate this Jaspal kaur a computer professional at model town and recently blessed with a baby girl said “my mother asked me to recite gurbani, shabad, shlok to give god sanskars to the baby “Sharing the same views Kanta said “when my daughter- in-law was pregnant I listen to good things as what the mother listens is grasped by the child it can grasp the negative tones so I asked her to go to the kirtans recite or listen to ramayan as the baby can listen to it and keep postive thoughts of the child, the parents will be able to reduce tension in their lives.

When talked to Dr vineeta munjal gynecologist at Guru Tegh Bahadur hospital said” it is true she says” The six weeks roughly 40 days after fertilization the embryo is developed [from zygote-sperm and ovary to embryo then another six weeks it develops into fetus after which for about same period it develops into recognizable human form. Science has also verified that fetus can think There is a ultrasound evidence that about 23 weeks 161 days the fetus dreams dreaming is an indication of presence of mental capabilities required for thought [the thinking fetus] there are numerous things that fetus can do in this period expressing emotions [happiness fear disgust etc] through its facial expressions. It can show anxiety through the sucking of thumb, asserts itself and protest through kicking and it develops memory adds she the child is effected by outside environment. A child is disturbed by high pitched music.

She says that medically exposure to frequency sounds leads to increased foetal activities which leads to increased uterine irritability and pre – term labor pains. The same thing happens when mother takes spicy food that causes gastrointestinal disturbances. She informed The incidence of babies having distress in mothers womb is on the rise probably due to hectic lifestyles of the mothers and stress of the outside environment . A word of advice from the doc is that a would be mother should check on food intake which causes gastric disturbances and do light yoga postures as regular exercise can help them in easy delivery. The atmosphere around should be peaceful “

So great lessons are learnt before stepping in the outside world Educating in the womb.

The Last Trimester – What To Expect From A Father To-Be

While the whole journey that is pregnancy has no doubt been a whirlwind of change and learning, this last stage of pregnancy is the most anticipatory; baby will be making its debut in a matter of weeks.

While dad may think that things can only get worse in the way of stress and exhaustion, many soon to be parents often find the last trimester the best. Life seems to strike a balance and while mom may be uncomfortable because of the size of her tummy, mentally the couple is often in a very good place.

Because mom’s hormones have began to stabilize, mood swings are less likely at this stage of the pregnancy, however, they’re probably not over. Mom can often get irritable and cranky because of the sheer discomfort of carrying around a 20lb plus weight gain. The baby is big enough now that she can feel his every movement, and oftentimes he’ll manage to rest himself against the spine, which can be pretty uncomfortable and cause lower back pain. This stage of pregnancy can also be very difficult for mom to find a good position to get much needed rest. For these reasons, mom’s mood swings should not be taken personally.

By now dad is also used to the late night cravings and constant bathroom breaks. It’s important to understand that at this stage the baby is both large, and moving towards the birth canal, which means he is almost always situated on mommy’s bladder. While it may be frustrating to make frequent restroom stops, think of the discomfort mom feels about always having the urge to use the restroom! The best thing a soon-to-be father can do is to patient. While mommy may not realize it at the moment, she will look back and realize how thankful she was to have an understanding partner.

Another thing that dad may notice is mom’s nesting. While it may be difficult or near impossible for her to clean, she may use what little energy she has to prepare the home for baby. It’s essential for dad to recognize that not only is baby sapping a lot of energy, but struggling with the added weight can be tiring; frequent naps may become part of the routine.

It’s important to be understanding in these last months of pregnancy and be willing to help with the chores around the house to take the burden off of mom. With a little understanding and patience, this last stage of pregnancy preparing for baby can be a joyous one!

Pregnancy Week 26 and Week 27

A woman’s third trimester will offer a lot of changes and expectations. When you are 26 weeks pregnant, there will be unbelievable experiences during this stage of the journey. Both mother and child will reach milestones during this time, and it’s important to note that preparation is paramount. Knowing what to expect as 26 week pregnant or 27 weeks pregnant, can be the difference between alarm and comfort. Read as much information as you can to help you get ready for this phase of pregnancy! You’ll find that things are pretty much right on schedule and you’re looking forward even more to delivery.

One interesting fact for women 26 weeks pregnant is that their baby’s length has increased. He or she is now a whopping nine to ten inches long. This length has been beneficial to the art of jumping, which your baby has learned to put into practice. This is something pregnant women can hardly ignore.

The baby’s heart beat has picked up a steady pace, now. The strong pace can be picked up simply with a stethoscope. Be sure to ask your physician to allow you to hear this treat on your next visit. You’ll definitely get a kick out of this process!

Women 26 weeks pregnant have gained anywhere from twenty-three to twenty-four pounds. Many of them are beginning to experience more areas of discomfort and pressure. This pressure results in more trips to the bathroom. To alleviate these feelings, it is sometimes a good idea to simply stretch on a regular basis.

Some expectant moms have been known to experience headaches during this phase of pregnancy. The culprit here is the continuation of hormone fluctuations. Often the only cure here is to faithfully rest and relax. Closing the shades can help to relieve headaches in some women.

Those who are 27 weeks pregnant will find themselves plagued with random times of fatigue. As their uterus is expanding and circulation issues arise, these women crave more rest. Some have even begun to have Braxton Hicks contractions. These are simply a type of precursor to real contractions.

At 27 weeks pregnant, it’s interesting to note that your baby is perfectly formed. He or she is a smaller version of the baby you’ll see on your delivery day. Things like the eyes are developing right on time. In fact, the retina formation is nearly complete and has begun to function. Your baby is now experiencing some basic sight sensations.

This is the stage of pregnancy where women may find they are emotionally balancing a lot of things. Physically their body changes must be adjusted to and accommodated. Finding balance here is a matter of concern, for many women. Emotionally, the excitement about delivery day becomes overwhelming.

This is a perfect time to do things that are productive, but stress-free. Mothers choose this time to pick out baby names or to plan their nursery. These activities can be a lot of fun, and can allow mom some time away from her concerns.

Important Morning Sickness Information

Very simply, morning sickness is the nausea and vomiting a woman experiences during pregnancy. The medical term associated with this is “misnomer”. It is essentially unknown what is the actual cause of this unpleasant part of pregnancy, but it is most likely due to changing hormone levels within a woman’s body that are produced after conception. Some women experience this in a mild way; but some women experience it all day long.

There are several different scenarios where this medical issue can appear, and the length of time it stays with a woman is also variable. Situations that can be connected with the illness are women pregnant with multiple children, women with a history of sickness after taking birth control pills, women who have had mothers or sisters that also experienced this illness, women with a history of migraine headaches, and even their genetic disposition. It has been quite unclear if the gender of the unborn child has any affect on the occurrence of the illness, but there are some studies available to shed light on this scenario.

Morning sickness can be eased with dietary changes and managing the stomach away from either being “full” or being “empty”. A lot of rest is essential to deal with this illness and women should most certainly avoid any foods that can irritate the feelings of nausea. There are treatments also available using such techniques as acupressure or special bands to wear on the body.

In summary, morning sickness affects women in many different situations and is incredibly common. Women should all be aware of this and seek out ways to ease or even cure the illness.

Breastfeeding Today

One of the most nurturing, natural and healthy things you can do for your new born child is breastfeed them when they are young.

The first time you breastfeed, you may have no idea how to do it the best way. This can make you feel frustrated, especially if you are a new mom, as well. However, when you are given instructions the frustration can quickly change to a rewarding experience for both you and your baby.

Using a Breast Pump

If you prefer not to breastfeed in public or if you are a new mom that works, you might want to consider buying a breast pump. Numerous brands and styles are available in most pharmacies and several are portable, easy to carry in your hand bag.

In addition, breast milk stores well for a couple of days in sealed containers, in the refrigerator. Your baby will stay healthy and well fed, even though you are not around to breastfeed.

Understanding What Your Baby Needs

First and important things you will want to understand when you are planning to breastfeed are; when to start, how frequently do you do it, and for how long. Since your baby, like all babies, is unique, how long you want to breastfeed is something you will have to figure out. Many physicians suggest one year, though your child may choose to stop before that.

Using Formula

Formula is a perfectly fine and acceptable choice, particularly if you are not able to breastfeed. The key is to feed and nourish your baby in whatever way you can. Today, with our modern knowledge of nutrition, a lot of formulas have similar nutrients that breast milk has.

Formula is an acceptable choice if you are not able to breastfeed. The key is to feed and nourish your baby in whatever way you can. Today, with our modern knowledge of nutrition, a lot of formulas have similar nutrients that breast milk has.

Even experienced mothers with several children may be able to share the differences that they say in their own infants in dealing with sickness and getting any allergies.

Breastfeeding can build an important closeness with mother and child, that help both of them adjust to their new lifestyle. Babies will experience again, the warmth and secure feeling of being physically near the body that they were joined with day for 9 months. New mothers, especially need time to adjust to the responsibilities and physical demands placed on them.

Many times, breastfeeding can stimulate each of the five senses more and help to build their memory. Over and over, each time the new born is fed, they can see their mom, smell her, touch her, taste the milk from her, and hear her as she takes a breath or possibly even pick up her heart beat by being next to her ribcage.

Breastfeeding is an important part of bonding with your baby, giving your baby the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and more.

Dealing With Gall Bladder Pregnancy Problems

Pregnancy can bring a wide range of inconveniences – food cravings, frequent urination, dizzy mornings, nausea and many more. Yes, aches and pains become very typical during the entire span of pregnancy. However, one form of pain can remain consistent even after you have given birth – the pain we are referring to is that which is caused by gallstones. Such a gall bladder pregnancy problem is characterized by intestinal discomfort and stabbing pains. In fact, for fear of gall bladder infection pregnancy, some women have their gall bladders removed before giving birth because they find it difficult to bear with the pain brought about by the stones. Before getting pregnant, it is important for you to understand and to get as much information as you can about gall bladder pregnancy problems as well as those that may occur after giving birth.

According to Dr. Christy Dibble, director of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Service Program in Women’s Digestive Disorders, next to appendicitis, the second most common condition encountered by women during pregnancy is the gall bladder removal surgery. It is also said that women aging between 20-60 are twice likely to develop gallstones than men. We become even more at risk to develop gall bladder problems when we get pregnant. Birth control use and estrogen can be a major cause of gall bladder abnormalities. In fact, approximately 2-4 percent of pregnant women taking birth control pills are found out to have gallstones during their pregnancy.

So how exactly are gallstones formed? Your gall bladder is a small organ which houses the bile and is located below the liver. The bile is the fluid breakdown of digestive enzymes and old red blood cells. Your digestive system needs the bile in order to carry out digestion. Normally, the bile stays in your intestine until you start eating and then the gall bladder squeezes the bile into your intestine in order to mix it with food. Gall stones are caused by several reasons. First, when the materials – salts, lecithin and bile as well -making up the bile become out of balance, they begin to form crystals.

These crystals tend to stick together growing harder and larger. The circulating estrogen, progesterone level and the hormonal milieu altogether, affect the gallbladder’s ability for bile excretion and contraction. High level of the these hormones can weaken your gall bladder wall which induces gallstone formation. When the stones start to lodge in the ducts of your pancreas or bladder, the pain can be very extreme and intolerable.

Aside from female hormones and pregnancy, other risk factors which can induce the formation of gall bladder stones include ethnicity particularly Mexican Americans and Native Americans, obesity, rapid weight loss and diabetes. Patients claim that the pain oftentimes, occur at night time or after eating spicy food. If you are one of those experiencing such bladder inconveniences months after you give birth, it is highly advised that you take time to see a health care provider in order to prevent the abnormality from developing further.

Good health should not only be a priority during pregnancy but even more importantly, after giving birth. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss any of your baby’s milestones.

Fertility Centers help Arrange Infertility Financing

When most couples find that their health insurance benefits will not cover infertility treatments they turn next to personal savings or, worse yet, retirement savings. However, many patient advocacy groups and clinics offer additional options for dealing with the increasing financial costs of infertility treatment by working one on one with individuals to find personal solutions. Infertility consulting companies also provide viable solutions to explaining options and offering comfort and security throughout the process.

Some clinics offer a 搒hared risk program.?Details differ from clinic to clinic and program to program, generally you must meet specific qualifications to be included. Usually the determining factors include age, health, pregnancy history, diagnosis, and many others. In a shared risk program patients pay one flat upfront fee for a treatment plan that may include up to several cycles. If you are successful after the first cycle, the clinic keeps the fee. If you are unsuccessful after all cycles, you may receive a partial refund. The fee is more than the cost of one cycle, but is extremely beneficial if you need more than one to have a baby. Be sure to have your Attorney and Financial Advisor look over any program before expending your resources.

Another type of program is offered by a Bank. The Family Fee Plan is a specific loan arrangement offered through the Bank at a number of clinics nationwide. Similar to a bank or credit card loan, the Family Fee Plan is essentially an unsecured loan whose amount and rate is determined by your credit score. Other options, such as a home equity loan may be less expensive. Consider any line of credit carefully and consult your Financial Advisor.

Of course the best money is the money you do not have to pay back. Some interest groups and clinics offer scholarships and grants for those seeking treatment. As with shared risk programs, there are certain qualifications which must be met in order to be eligible. Scholarships and grants are generally given out yearly and are highly competitive. If you qualify, it is absolutely worth the time to apply.

Explore as many options as you can instead of placing all of your hope into one program. By caring for your infertility financing issues and exploring many options you will increase your chances of finding the funding to make your dreams of your own child come true.
